Have some consideration; be good to your visitors

They are all saying that content is king, and it is slowly starting to sink in. not that sourcing link exchanges all day everyday isn`t fun, it`s actually spellbindingly exciting, but besides that the call to produce awesome articles, radiant posts and vivacious videos is ever present.
The process of choosing subject matter for your web content is a meticulous one, as this is where creativity and careful consideration is required. If I have a site about Plasma televisions, instinct would lead me to writing droves of text about how the plasma display panel is typically 37-inches diagonally in span, or how each pixel in a display is made up of three sub cells, each coated with a different coloured phosphor… but is that going to help?
The chances are I`ll appeal to a wider range of visitors if I rather talk about how brilliant the new epic movie “300” will be, with all its special effects and gripping fight scenes when viewed on a wide screen Plasma TV and coupled with a sweet surround sound system. More images will sprout and expand in peoples’ minds when I explain; “the great golden sun gently warms my spongy skin” than “the indices of square quagmatics define rhythms within parallel wave vectors”.
Of course there is a balance between offering pure salesy oratory, and actually providing good solid information, what you have to ask yourself is, who are you writing to, what kind of users comprise your target market? It`s great if you wow and blow over your audience with tales of promise and paradise, but do they walk away more knowledgeable, either in general or in what they were seeking when they stumbled on your site or blog in the first place?
Using analogy, metaphor and other literary techniques should be accompanied with genuine information that is relevant to the visitor and what he is looking for. So don`t lure people into traps of vast illusion with YouTube videos of your dog Wuffles doing backward flick flacks on the beach during your Seychelles holiday, so that they grow tired and exit out the nearest link. Rather, competently give them what they need, in a way that doesn`t make them grab for the nearest nap pillow.
