- Katia came to MediaVision with a degree in Social Science that covered a number of disciplines, including art, media studies, economics and business psychology. Her extroverted personality and marketing aptitude led her from starting up her own Production company, D'Phunkt, to Assistant Brand/Marketing Manager for a young, funky vitamin company. She also worked in the Design department for Conservation Corporation Africa as Operation and Retail product design co-ordinator. While working in Johannesburg, Katia completed another three years of part-time study in Brand Management, Marketing and Media & Design at the Vega Brand Communication School.
On arrival in London Katia joined MediaVision with a passion for Online Marketing and swiftly found her Niche in Account Management in the Search department. A magnetic and experienced component to the team, Katia brings a wealth of ideas and adaptability to MediaVision's brand. Creative, yet logical in application, she keeps abreast of the dynamically changing technologies of our generation, and her service driven work ethic makes her an accountable and approachable manager.
Energetic and a bit nutty, Katia is also a qualified kung fu instructor, she is passionate about music, photography and water sports and eats chillies like sweets. She comes from big Portuguese family so she loves good food and wine as spends a great deal of her free time having a good time with family and friends. Her inquisitive attitude to online interactivity makes Katia perfectly suited to lead the MediaVision's Social Media Management drive as well as being a good head of account management looking after some of our biggest clients.
