Friday, March 30, the office was closed by 2pm to celebrate James’s 25 Birthday. James AKA “The Steed”, our in house Dev Trainee/Server Admin/The brain to pick everynow and then.

Off to Nag’s head in Noordhoek for lunch and we were treated to possibly the most amazing Cape Town summer day, not a breath of wind and the sun beating down. Due to “the steed’s” fascination with horses, the office decided to get him a little gift, to James’s delight :)

The Basics:

  • Backlinks (Websites that link to your site)
  • Traffic (Visitors to your site, for this post, we will exclude search engines from this term)
  • Branding (Basically a service, product or even a concept that you can distinguish from the many others)
  • Community Interaction (Interact with other users online throughout the globe, gathering feedback, ideas, responses)

Ever heard the terms SMO or Social Media mentioned? Where does it fit into the grand scheme of things? How do I benefit from using it? What does it exactly do? How do I start?

You have these moments when you feel you have accomplished something, you sit back, look at it, smile.

Tracetec, one of our reseller’s clients, a site completely done in Flash. A total nightmare when it comes to SEO. No text for search engines to crawl, always a bit of a challenge. The site itself, is amazingly done in Flash, almost a very futuristic look to it, something that reminds you of transformers or space movies :)
